Green Pizza


Get your kids to eat their vegetables with this healthy green pizza topped with zucchini, asparagus and basil.

The ingredient of Green Pizza

  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • 60g pkt coles brand australian baby arugula
  • 1 4 cup 40 g of pine nuts toasted
  • 1 4 cup 20g parmesan finely grated
  • 1 clove of garlic crushed
  • 1 3 cup 80ml olive oil
  • 4 large pita bread
  • 2 bunches asparagus woody ends trimmed cut into 5cm diagonal
  • 2 zucchini thinly sliced in the direction of the length of the ribbons
  • 100g of cherry bocconcini coarsely torn
  • coles brand australian baby arugula extra to serve
  • parmesan cheese to serve

The Instruction of green pizza

  • preheat the oven to 220c place the basil arugula pine nuts parmesan and garlic in the bowl of a food processor and process until finely chopped with the motor running add oil in a thin steady stream and process until well combined
  • place the pita bread on 2 large baking sheets covered with parchment paper reserve 1 4 cup of pesto spread remaining pesto evenly over the pita bread top with the asparagus zucchini and bocconcini
  • bake swapping trays halfway through cooking for 15 minutes or until lightly browned and heated through transfer to serving plates top with reserved pesto top with an extra rocket and shavings of parmesan to serve
