- 30g butter
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 250g button mushrooms sliced
- 1 tablespoon spring onion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 3 cup brandy
- 1 3 cup tomato sauce
- 1 1 4 cup pure cream
- seasonal vegetables steamed to serve
The Instruction of fillet mignon with mushroom sauce
- wrap the bacon around the steaks and secure with toothpicks
- heat a heavy based pan and add the oil sear steaks and cook for 8 10 minutes keep warm on a plate covered with foil
- add the butter to the pan with the garlic mushrooms and spring onions cook for 1 minute add remaining ingredients and simmer over a low heat until reduced
- spoon sauce over steaks and serve with seasonal veggies
